Haze

' It’s in the tendency of humans to not fear the dark but what's hidden in it.'

HAZE is a film concept developed by a group of three. Here's a little about the film:

The film is about a man in a charcoal-shaded world, who is pursued by a shape that shifts and slips through the shadows. As fear distorts reality, the lines between pursuer and prey begin to blur. The film explores the concept that sometimes, the greatest fear lies not in what chases us, but in what is hidden within ourselves. Below are a few stills, layouts, and test animations from the film, which were some of my contributions to the project.

Below are a few layouts made for a personal animation project, depicting a room at different times of the day.

Ankitamu

I worked on a project called Ankitamu, a Telugu word that translates to 'dedicated to.' It was a ceramic collection created by Pujana Shruti, centered around bringing comfort and mindfulness into everyday workspaces.

For the visual identity and marketing material of the pop-up exhibition, I centered the illustrations around childhood nostalgia and carefree memories to evoke comfort and emotional ease. The illustrations I created for the postcards, zines, and invitation card reflect a playful and nostalgic visual language intended to bring warmth and familiarity into everyday work life.

This illustration was created for an event hosted by a STEM learning initiative focused on teaching children science, technology, and engineering through hands-on and playful learning experiences.

Character Design

This is the character design I made for Sajid, a chicken butcher from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. To talk a little about his personality, he is a devoted Muslim with strong religious beliefs, talkative, and never loses an argument. Despite his modest income, Sajid is dedicated to his work and follows Halal practices in his butchering. He stands firm in his beliefs and lives life with a touch of quirkiness.

Note: This character is fictional and not intended to offend any religion or community.

Picture Books

Adventures of Simba, George, Paddington & Donkey, This book was a commission work where I had the opportunity to create this book as a gift for a child who had soft toys that looked like the original characters: Simba, George, Paddington, and Donke. The child wished for a story where these four toys could magically come to life and embark on an exciting adventure around the world. Here are some snapshots from the book.

Home is a children’s storybook is authored and illustrated by me. The story revolves around a young girl on her way home from school. She stumbles upon a charming lane filled with a variety of enchanting, eccentric, and one-of-a-kind houses. Inspired by what she sees, the girl embarks on a determined quest to find or create her own special home. The storybook follows her journey as she puts in great effort to make her dream of having a house come true.
